New Blind Is Open
The blind just north of our house is open for business! We recently moved the far edge closer and are working on a peninsula to get the birds even closer to your lens. It will hold 4 photographers easily and is down close to ground level. The Rio Grande Turkey have been around all hours of the day. Quail, dove, Kiskadee flycatchers and most of the migrants are here also. Cattle egrets come in whenever the cattle are near and they are in their breeding plumage now. I saw a 5 to 6 foot rattler come in for water one morning. Spring of 2009 was very productive at this blind.
